Increasing numbers of low rise North American style suburbs are now popping up around Russia. Most recently, CMHC engaged LAC & Associates to complete a detailed study on how the Russian financial systems works with respect to construction and mortgage financing. The speaker will focus on the Russian housing market with respect to construction and mortgage financing and the manner in which Canadian companies should work with developers, banks, insurance companies, and mortgage brokers in Russia, in order to structure a comprehensive financing package for both the construction phase of any development project and for potential Russian buyers of completed properties.
